Praise and Prayer by Joli Cullen

Praise: We are seeing a moving of God’s hand across the nation as people’s hearts are being stirred.  Praise the Lord, we have seen people receive Christ and many more lives transformed from darkness to Light.  In all the darkness we see in our world God is still at work. As 2 Chronicles 7:14 proclaims, God’s people are seeking His face and seeking repentance, restoration, hope, and healing through Jesus Christ.  May God “hear our prayers and heal our land”.

You all know that our tow dolly was stolen in October.  Through ministry partners we received 700.00 of the 1100.00 to replace it, praise God!

Prayer Requests:  On January 23, 2012, hundreds of thousands of people gathered in Washington D.C. to pray for our nation and stand for life. Many of those there were youth and young adults under the age of 25.  25% of their generation has been aborted (over 54,000,000 babies since 1973).  Recently we have read in the pro life news of even greater atrocities in the abortion industry.  There has been proof of Planned Parenthood covering up cases of rape, even cases involving girls under age 14.  There is documented proof of fetal cell lines being used in the vaccines. There is a case right now in Florida where a young woman agreed to be injected with fetal cells from an aborted baby in hopes of regaining the ability to walk after a car accident.She has not shown any improvement.

There is good news that there is now clinical trial involving using adult stem cells.  A woman in California who also was in a car accident that damaged her spine is showing improvement and gaining strength after receiving adult stem cells.  Please continue to pray.

There is also documented proof recently of aborted fetal cells being used in research companies that by PEPSICO for their food products. They are being used for research to test flavor enhancements, not actually in the product, but just that fact is still disturbing.  And one that I, Joli, am very distressed by is the reports that are surfacing of women being assaulted by abortion doctors.  This industry is enveloped in darkness and our cry is for light to break through the darkness.  That all of the things that are being done in the dark will be brought to the light surrounding Planned Parenthood and the abortion industry.  Our prayer is that women who have been affected will find healing in Jesus.  We pray for abortion to end. We intercede on behalf of unborn children.  95% of women who have been given a diagnosis of a birth defect or handicap will choose abortion. We pray for them and we pray for the unborn child who has been given this label.  We pray that God will stir the hearts of His people, that we as the church will be willing to speak up and proclaim God’s Word and the message of the gospel.  To show His love, and to shine as lights in the darkness.

Personal Prayer Requests:  Doug is suffering from debilitating arthritis and we are seeking God’s direction for doctors and treatment.  We trust that God will empower Doug to continue in the purpose He has called him to.  Please pray for Doug to have strength to stand on Sunday mornings and Sunday evenings.

I, Joli, have been suffering from headaches.  Please pray for wisdom concerning any treatment.  I know God will give me the strength and empowering I need.  When I am weak, He is strong.

Also I desire your prayers for my mom.  Cancer is in her spine and threatens her spinal cord.

Please pray for the Holy Spirit of God to lead us in all that we do in 2012, and may people across the nation be transformed as they encounter Jesus Christ. May the kingdom of God be added to daily and may people find hope and healing in Jesus Christ as we share the message of the Sanctity of Human Life. Minds can be swayed by facts, but an encounter with the Lord changes both hearts and minds.
