In 2009, we spoke at First Southern Baptist Church in Bountiful, UT, and after the services, a young mother followed me out to the van. She began to cry and shared with me the story of the baby in her arms. Early in her pregnancy she was told her baby would have Downs Syndrome. She knew in her heart to choose life though everyone around her encouraged her to abort. She told me that everyone she told that she was carrying a Downs baby asked her, “aren’t you going to get rid of it?” It caused her much pain. However, she remained committed to her decision for life, and gave birth to a beautiful baby girl.

She was so encouraged during the services, and went to the altar during the invitation time to thank and praise God, but was too emotional to share her story with the congregation. (She had only been attending church 3 weeks). Her baby girl is not Downs; God healed her in the womb!!! Please pray for Susan ( she told me I could share her story with everyone) and her baby girl Evyanna (born 2008) and her other 2 boys.

We praise God for all His wondrous works He does, and we pray that women everywhere will be encouraged and strengthened to choose life!
