Our desire is to share with children God's plan for their life by teaching them the truths of God's Word. The will learn that God is the creator of all life and that He created human beings on day 6 of creation. The key verses are Genesis 1:26-27, ephasizing that God created all humans in His image. God also blessed humans with a four fold blessing according to Genesis 1:28, "Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
The next passage of scripture that they will hear is Psalm 139. God is All Powerful, All Knowing, and All Present Everywhere. The key verses are Psalm 139:13-16, that teach the children that God formed them in their mother's womb, that they are fearfully and wonderfully made, and that God planned all their days. Verses 17- 18 will be emphasized as well, so that the children can always know that God cares for them. "How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand; When I awake, I am still with You."
