This year, The Teenage Life Club has decided to host a 2012 Pro-Life Letter Campaign. Our goal is to send 1 million letters to the White House and the Supreme Court, voicing the pro-life opinions of our nation. It is crucial to send the letters and make an impact at this time, especially as elections are not too far off.
The purpose of The 2012 Pro-Life Letter Campaign is to open up an opportunity for people who are pro-life toexpress their opinions on the matter of abortion and to make an impact in the constant fight for life.
We are asking people to send letters to the White House and to the Supreme Court.

People of any age can send letters. Adults and teens can write actual letters, while children are welcome to draw pictures and write a few phrases like “life,” “save the babies,” etc.
If you are not sure what to write in a letter, here are three general ideas that may help you start out:

Abortion violates the Fourteenth Amendment, of which the second half clearly states: “nor shall any state deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.”

Abortion is murder, and it kills over 1 million babies every year in the United States alone.

I am speaking on behalf of those who have not had the chance to speak for themselves, and I will not stop until unborn babies have their equal share of rights.

2. Wear a pro-life t-shirt.
Help spread the message of life, and make others aware of the loss of the sanctity of human life in America by wearing pro-life t-shirts everywhere you go, including to school if your dress code allows it. Some great places to get pro-life shirts are Abort73, Stand True, Rock for Life, and Heritage House
3. Follow/Like us (Choose Life Ministries) on Facebook, and Follow/Like other pro-life groups as well.
4. Repost Updates/statuses from the above pro-life group’s Facebooks. And get your friends to follow/like them too
Be my Vote is a campaign started by Stand True. You, as a youth may be too young to vote, but you can MAKE THE DIFFERENCE by encouraging pro-life, Christian adults to register and vote! They provide the strategies, instructions and materials – you provide the passion and enthusiasm! Click the link and sign up to join, and you can earn points towards some amazing prizes including the coolest electronics. This is especially important with this being an election year.

8. Silent Prayer Vigils
Silent Siege (Bound4Life), 40 Days for Life, and Life Chain all provide a strategic, prayer-based presence outside of abortion clinics and courthouses, and along major city streets. Silent Siege utilizes red “LIFE” tape to symbolize the silent cries of dying, unborn children; 40 days for Life is a community-based campaign that draws attention to abortion through prayer and fasting, constant vigil and community outreach. Life Chain is an annual cross-community event in which people stand along major city streets with “Abortion Kills Children” signs.
9. Invite someone to come speak at School, Club, Youth Group, etc

10. Hold a Fundraiser for your local Pregnancy Care Center (or some other pro-life group)
Do a car wash, bake sale, yard sale, benefit concert, collect change in baby bottles, etc and donate the money to a Pregnancy Care Center near you (to find one near you go to http://www.heartbeatinternational.org/)

12. Hand out Pro-Life literature
Hand out pro-life literature at the mall, at your school (if you’re allowed), at restaurants, leave it in bathrooms, etc. We have some literature on our website that you can download and print for free, Abort 73 also has a couple of brochures you can download/order, or you can also order pro-life literature from Heritage House.
13. Start a pro-life group/club at your school
Students for Life of America trains and equips college and high school students on how to stand for life and on how to start a pro-life group at your school. They have helped start over 300 student pro-life groups. Check out their website
14. Put a Pro-life bumper sticker on your laptop, guitar case, car, etc
15. Pro-Life Day of Silent Solidarity

16. March for Life
Every year on the anniversary of the legalization of abortion hundreds of thousands of people go to Washington D.C. to March for Life. Every year apx. 80% of those who go are high school students. This year’s March for Life will be on January 25, 2013. http://www.marchforlife.org/
